Greg D came to visit and we decided to take a hike up to Loch Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park – we started out at 9,000′ and went up to 10,200′
As we looked closer – we realized we had crossed into a prairie dog war and we were the targets. (What does Brian say about the Prairie Dog Bite? Is it worse than the squirrel?)
Yesterday on our walk we ran into a prairie dog who was yelling hello in a high pitch screech (similar to baby river otters)…
Enjoying the Weather – last weekend Mark and I were able to enjoy the beautiful weather (before the big storm) – Mark is showing off his prototype for a hood he and my dad constructed.
Fiona all swaddled up sends her bithday wishes…
Crystal made a stellar meal – chicken and rice, complete with special treats for both mark and I (chocolate souffle and carrot cake) – YUM

Sleepy Fiona… back in california for work, Mark and I were able to spend a night with Fiona, Crystal and Tom (and Ivyand Abbey of course)
They were cooked perfectly and we ENJOYED every bite! Thanks Scott and Julie!!

We hung a ceiling fan, painted an art niche for our water fountain, planted some trees…
After the hike we headed to the Home Depot to get a few plants and some supplies for our house projects – the little black pony is great for trees!
… a few drops of rain came down, but we continued on… 🙂
